Introduction
Offshore structures such as FPSO and FSO are unlike commercial ships carrying cargos from port to port, designed to operate solely in marine environment for extended period of time. Due to their inaccessibility for repair and service, the systems and equipment used on offshore structures need to be highly durable and reliable.
