Privacy Policy
Kashiwa Tech Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) determines its Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as “the Policy”) as follows and protects and properly handles obtained personal information according to the Policy. The terms in the context of the Policy are construed in accordance with the definitions in Act on the Protection of Personal Information (hereinafter referred to as “the Act”).
Article 1 Personal Information to Acquire
The Company acquires the following personal information.
(1) Identity information
Name, address, postal code, sex, date of birth, phone number, email address, corporate name, position, etc.
(2) Transaction information
Particulars of transaction, purchase, or repair
(3) Payment information
Accounts at financial institutions, settlement of accounts, and payment methods
(4) Web access information
Online identifiers such as cookies, user terminal data, location data, browsing history, and other web access data (including access log, IP addresses, browser information, language setting)
(5) Other information
Inquiries to or communication with the Company
Article 2 Purposes of Use
The Company acquires and utilizes personal information in line with the purposes of use (hereinafter referred to as “the purposes”) specified below.
(1) To provide the Company’s products and after-sales services
(2) To charge for the products or services provided by the Company
(3) To prevent any illegal practice and adequately deal with it in case it is found
(4) To manage the Company’s customers who use the Company’s products or services
(5) To survey and analyze marketing data, and to review and implement marketing plans
(6) To improve the Company’s existing products and services, and to plan, research, and develop new products and services
(7) To provide personal information to a third party as specified in the Policy.
The Company also acquires and utilizes personal information for its group companies (see (3) Joint users in “Article 4 Joint Use”) to perform their businesses to the extent of the purposes stated above.
Article 3 Provision to a Third Party
The Company will not provide its obtained personal information to any third party without prior consent of the individual concerned unless the Act or any other law admits or requires it, or except cases –
(1) Where provision of personal information is deemed necessary to protect human life, health, or assets, and the consent of the individual concerned is impractical to obtain;
(2) Where provision of personal information is deemed necessary to improve public health or promote sound development of children, and the consent of the individual concerned is impractical to obtain; and
(3) Where any governmental agency or local public body, or their entrusted entity requires the Company’s cooperation in providing obtained personal information for them to carry out their duties specified by law, but the consent of the individual concerned could hinder them from carrying out their duties.

Article 5 Security Management Controls
The Company takes necessary and adequate measures to ensure that its obtained personal information is securely managed and protected from leaks, loss, or damage. For the security controls to implement, contact the Company at the point of contact shown in Article 7.
Article 6 Request from the Individuals Concerned
Without delay, the Company will accede to the request by the individuals concerned to disclose, amend or remove his/her personal information, or stop providing it to a third party. The request can be made at the point of contact shown in Article 7.
