High Expansion Foam Fire Extinguishing System using Inside Air
High Expansion Foam Fire Extinguishing System using
Inside Air In 1992, Kashiwa took the lead worldwide
by developing a high expansion foam system capable
of generating foam in fire locations to extinguish
oil fires, and started providing these safe, high
performance inside air type high expansion foam systems
as an alternative to the Halon or CO2 systems used
in vessels' machinery spaces and pump-rooms.
The safety and performance of this system is highly
regarded by many ship owners, classification societies,
governments and dockyards. As of August 2015, the system
had already been installed in over 3,730 vessels.
Kashiwa will continue providing high quality and reliable
products, based on these results and experiences
